Geneon Launches Video Podcast
Geneon Entertainment, the publisher of some of my favorite anime including Jubei-chan and Starship Operators, have launched a free video podcast available at iTunes. Right now it consists of video trailers for upcoming releases, but Geneon plans to expand the content to include behind-the-scenes features, sneak previews and exclusive footage only available through the podcast. I tried this out on my video iPod and it looks pretty good. My only issue with it is that letterboxed content makes the iPod's already tiny screen seem even smaller, so this is one of the few cases where I would prefer to see a "pan and scan" version. But I still found it worth adding to my subscribed podcasts.
