I know I'm not the only one out there. Haven't you noticed Christmas decorations mixed in with your swimwear choices? In my opinion the Christmas commercial during Halloween is probably scarier than anything you will see on the telly. Thanks to Joanne Kimes, author of such books as Pregnancy Sucks and Dating Sucks comes a book to help those of us who dread the holiday season.
I know the title can seem a little scary. Why on Earth would anyone think that Christmas sucks? It's the time we celebrate the birth of our Savior (for those of us that believe that way). Have no fear! Christmas Sucks is a guide to help all of us survive the hectic holiday season with our sanity intact, unless you're like me and you are insane to begin with. This invaluable guide gives fantastic tips on how to keep within your budget, not go overboard with decorations, and so many other great tips. Do you know how to handle a house full of guests, all staying in your home instead of at a hotel? Thanks to Joanne Kimes you can now figure out how to kick those guests out of your house with grace and class!
This book is so freakin' funny. I laughed so hard so many times I'm surprised I didn't pee my pants. Not once, or twice but so many times I lost count. Not only is the advice given really helpful but it is handled in such a way that makes you laugh out loud. How can you not find humor in this book when you have chapters entitled "All I Want For Christmas Is My Retirement Account Intact" and "Deck the Halls With Tons of Crap." With this book of tips by my side I'll be calm, cool, and collected this Christmas season while the rest of those suckers who didn't read it will be frazzled and stressed out. I recommend this book to anyone who dreads the holidays, or for anyone who loves Christmas. Which means, everyone should read this book!
