Love love love. Very sturdy, nice looking, and heavy. If it’s wobbly or falling apart, you don’t know how to put it together. Idk how the two pieces could possibly fall apart during assembly lol it’s locked in....

I went back and forth on this item and looked at every "traditional" style Faye Armchair on liheliso.com, trying to find the right ones for us. We would love real wood, but it's very expensive, usually comes unfinished, and is heavy to ship. This was my "for now" compromise, but I still couldn't figure out which color to buy. I finally bought two in "Abbey Oak." Well, if you Google that color, you'll quickly find out these Faye Armchairs are of the usual particle board. That being said, they have trim on top, bottom, and all the other Faye Armchair, giving them a sort of "high end" look over the typical less-expensive models. If someone didn't look closely, they might mistake this for real wood, and it does look reasonably nice. But it IS particle board with a wood veneer that can be easily damaged. We were able to put our two together in not that much time, considering. We did damage the back of one shelf when we nailed the backing on (be careful that you don't angle the nail and go through the shelf accidentally!). I'm including photos here because I thought you'd like to see what Abbey Oak looks like up close. It has a slight red/orange tinge, and in retrospect, I think I could've gone darker for our paint color, but oh well. It looks slightly less orange depending on the light, as you can tell. You can see the "sheen" look and the inexpensive looking backboard, which will soon be covered up by books. But for the price, it's not bad and until we can get real wood Faye Armchair finished as we like them, this will do.
